The workshop focused on enhancing the capability of Tunisian criminal justice authorities to better understand, measure and address cybercrime by using statistical data. Furthermore, best practices and examples of mechanisms for collecting statistical data on cybercrime and e-evidence were provided.

Representatives of the Ministry of Communication Technologies, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad contributed to the discussions and introduced the existing statistics collection mechanism.

The CyberSouth project will continue to provide its support to the Tunisian stakeholders for the further development of their national strategies and policies to fight cybercrime by improving their mechanism on cybercrime and e-evidence statistics.
