EU-Ukraine Solidarity Lanes
|
|
As part of the EU's solidarity response with Ukraine, the Commission has established Solidarity Lanes to help Ukraine export its agricultural goods. Since Russia's unprovoked and unjustified invasion of Ukraine and the blockade of its seaports, Ukraine has been unable to export its produce to destinations around the world. To address these obstacles and identify pragmatic solutions, the Commission has made available a business matchmaking tool, under the EU’s Enterprise Europe Network, to bring together businesses in the EU and Ukraine.

Alternative fuels
|
|
Do you know what the share of alternative fuels vehicles is within the entire EU vehicle fleet? They represent about the 4.96% of total vehicles ‒ a figure that hovers around 270,019,415. This is the estimation published by the newly revamped European Alternative Fuels Observatory (EAFO3.0). EASO gathers information on infrastructure roll-out for alternative fuels, the uptake of alternative fuels, and support measures in the Member States and other European countries within EAFO’s scope. Over the course of 2022, EAFO will gradually be expanded to cover rail and aviation, in addition to the road and waterborne sectors already covered.
