The EMD 2025 year is now ending!

Dear colleagues, we are now wrapping up this interesting EMD 2025 year, thanking the Cork city council and the Irish ministry Department of Environment, Climate and Communications, as well as all our other interlocutors and stakeholders for all input and assistance throughout the year.

The EMD in Cork included lots of interesting opportunities to contribute and learn more: plenaries, workshops, networking and exhibition activities. A lof of reflections for example on the Ocean Pact were conveyed under the framework of the Fisheries and Ocean dialogue, in the various plenary sessions.

We are now looking ahead at what's next under the Ocean Pact (see also the press release) in order to further explore the synergies and challenges that lie ahead in the near future and that will influence the preparations of the next EMD.
