Diversity in 2020: Figures and an Overview of Activities of Czech Diversity Charter
|
We welcomed 7 new Gold Ambassadors and 5 new signatories to the Czech Diversity Charter family last year.
The themes of diversity, flexibility, inclusion and solidarity were highlighted throughout the year. 2020 marked the 10th anniversary of the European Diversity Charter. In the Czech Republic, 85 companies across various segments and regions are members of the Charter.

Annual Event 2020 - Fundación Diversidad
|
In November 2020, we celebrated virtually the Annual Event of Fundación Diversidad that framed the VI International Diversity Awards. In addition to these recognitions, several companies signed the Diversity Charter for the first time and others renewed their commitment to this Charter of Principles. The Diversity Calendar 2021 was also presented. Like every year, we counted on the participation of the foundation’s patrons, the representation in Spain of the European Commission and the Ministry of Equality.

Austrian Diversity Charter News
|
At this time we officially count 248 signatories and some interested companies in the pipeline. Since January 2020, we have 18 new signatories. We plan to continue with our strategy to invite and involve our members primarily to new online events and projects.

Slovenia - Signing ceremony with a round table “Diversity against pandemic”

Traditionally, on the occasion of the International Human Rights Day, Diversity Charter Slovenia, organized fourth signing ceremony with a round table "Diversity against the pandemic". On this occasion we welcomed new signatories of Diversity Charter Slovenia, today the community gathers 153 Slovenian organizations.

The scientific roadmap to an effective and result-driven D&I policy

In October 2020 Diversity at Work, the Utrecht University and the Dutch Inclusivity Monitor joined forces to research the effectiveness of current D&I policies on the Dutch labour market. The visible increase of companies wanting to invest in diversity and inclusion simultaneously raised questions about how to set up an effective D&I policy.

Master Class series on diversity management in Hungary
|
40 signatories have joined the Diversity Charter Hungary on 9th December 2020. Among others, Bosch Group decided to renew its commitment to promote diversity in all 5 subsidiaries. 3 new companies joined the Hungarian Charter: LHH Hungary, E.ON Hungary Ltd. and Queritius International Dispute Resolution. True to their traditions the Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands, and the Embassy of Mexico in Hungary decided to sign the diversity principles as well.

News from the Portuguese Diversity Charter - new website and more

APPDI has started the 4th edition of Women Engineers for a Day Project in October 2020. In addition, they now have a new website. The launch of the website combines the dissemination of the "Guide to an Inclusive Recruitment", intending to inspire and provide tools that can be useful, promoting the
construction of a more diverse and inclusive workplace.
