Rainbow Europe - still a long way to go

The European Commission this year again celebrated the IDAHOT day by lightining up the Berlaymonth building and organising online discussion with Commissioner Dalli as well as by publishing several relevant publications.

Diversity Month 2020

The Diversity Month and the events linked to it had to be unfortunately cancelled this year, but we still celebrated diversity throughout the EU. This section summarises the actions from the side of the European Commission, but this Newsletter will offer a lot of examples from the Charters' activities as well.

The 10th anniversary of the EU Platform of Diversity Charters

This year we mark the 10th anniversary of the EU Platform. And while we had to cancel the big celebratory event, we still made sure that this big occasion was celebrated as well as it could.

We continue betting on the Diversity and Inclusion agenda

ARTICLES, PODCASTS AND WEBINAR CICLE OF DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION DURING CORONAVIRUS CRISIS - Fundación para la Diversidad wants, more than ever, to continue betting on the Diversity and Inclusion agenda. Equal opportunities and non-discrimination are fundamental principles to protect the dignity of people and more in these moments of crisis.

Diversifying the Dutch municipality

More and more Dutch municipalities are signing the Dutch Diversity Charter since local cities are becoming increasingly diverse crossroads in global networks of migration and settlement. This creates new challenges for living together, for countering discrimination and exclusion on the local job market and to include the participation of marginalized groups within the city and in the local organization.

The Romanian Diversity Charter presents the publication "Diversity Management in Romanian Organizations"

A publication marking two years of Romanian Diversity Charter - it is a collaborative effort of the Romanian Diversity Charter and our signatories and explores the concept of diversity management in the workplace, with particular emphasis on Romanian companies.

Showing solidarity in Italy

From the start of the COVID19 pandemic, Fondazione Sodalitas supported its companies in promoting solidarity actions towards their employees as well as towards the Country.

Focusing on working parents in the Czech Republic

The fifth annual “Diversity Charter: Mothers and Fathers Welcome” conference on trends and new perspectives in supporting working parents, this time subtitled: Parenthood and work opportunities – experience from collective isolation during the COVID-19 lockdown. The conference was held within the framework of the Diversity Charter in partnership with Česká spořitelna, McDonald’s ČR and Kooperativa Foundation and in cooperation with Randstat and the British Chamber of Commerce.

Celebrating diversity in Lithuania

Lithuanian Diversity Charter, and one of the biggest media website 15min.lt launched an information campaign ''May in Diversity'', which reached out to its addressees on a trilateral principle.

Already more than 120 employers value diversity in Estonia

On June 10, 11 Estonian companies and organizations signed the Estonian Diversity Charter. The companies that confirmed their commitment to the values of diversity and inclusion are Wunder, Enics Estonia, SOL Baltics, MoveMyTalent, Creditstar Group, E-government Academy, Vanalinna Ehitus, Grant Thornton Baltic, Via 3L, Playtech and IPF Digital.

APPDI 2020 Strategy & Diversity month campaign

APPDI presented its 2020 strategy at the plenary held in February and celebrated Diversity Month with their signatories.

Polish Diversity Month 2020

On May 4 on Polish Diversity Charter's channels (website, social media, media partners) we launched a "Diversity Month 2020" which has ended at the end of May. The main topic that we focused on, was future of work, caring responsibilities and key challenges regarding to current situation on the labour market. It was completely online.

New signatories for the Slovenian Diversity Charter

At the end of the year 2019, Slovenian Diversity Charter has brought together already 145 signatory organizations. On the international Human Rights Day, 10 December 2019, new signatories signed the Charter.

The 8th German Diversity Day

In spite of the corona virus and its impact on our lives, we have decided to organise our annual Diversity Day, just in a different format. It was a great success and we were joined by many of our signatories.
