Hereby we would like to remind you of the upcoming City Science Initiative (CSI) plenary roundtable that takes place this Wednesday July 7 from 10:00 to 11:30 hrs.

From its start, the City Science Initiative has functioned as a ‘third space’: an open and informal discussion platform between cities, academics, the services of the European Commission and different network organizations.

Last year, the ‘City Science for Urban Challenges’ report was published. The report looks back on the pilot phase of the City Science Initiative and sets out different recommendations on how city science in Europe can be strengthened, and how the City Science Initiative should continue to function., and how the City Science Initiative should continue to function.

 Building upon this report and its recommendations, you are all invited to look back on the CSI pilot phase and to discuss the future of the CSI together by means of a roundtable.

In addition, we want to give you the opportunity to stay updated on the latest developments on EU activities related to city science.
