The second edition of the Regional Resource Hub (RRH) Data Workshop on Protected and Conserved Areas for Eastern and Southern Africa took place in Nairobi on 20-24 March, in the context of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework and the European Green Deal. The event showcased the progress made by the BIOPAMA Regional Resource Hub hosted by Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD). The BIOPAMA team presented a full day of training dedicated to decision-support tools produced by the JRC (AKP, DOPA and BIOPAMA RIS with its PAME and PAGE) and met with the EU Delegation to Kenya. The event increased uptake of Commission-developed tools in the region, while also understanding the characteristics of its stakeholders.
