The RMIS newsletter contains updates on the development of the Raw Materials Information System (RMIS) platform. It is also used to inform users about new publications and events organized by the RMIS team as well as in the context of the broad RMIS network.

The RMIS is the EC’s reference knowledge portal on raw materials, a commitment in the 2015 Circular Economy Action Plan, led and maintained by the JRC.

RMIS helps fulfilling the knowledge needs identified by EU policies, such as the 2024 Critical Raw Materials Act. It serves as a pivotal tool for synthesizing research findings and bridging the gap between scientific knowledge and policy implementation.
