Members of European Aviation Security Centre visit IRMM
On 10 January 2014 three Members of the European Aviation Security Centre (EASC) visited IRMM to discuss possible collaborations. EASC is a non-profit organization which aims to accelerate research and development activities in order to enhance aviation security in air transport. The EASC's activities focus mainly on consulting as well as research carried out at the Schönhagen airfield nearby Berlin. After receiving a welcome by the Director and presentation by Göran Lövestam on IRMM activities on aviation security, the discussion was focused on possible collaboration between IRMM and EASC, particularly in the field passenger and cargo screening.
