The HBM4EU-AGGREGATED dataset is a collection of summary statistics on human biomonitoring data from studies performed outside the HBM4EU project. HBM4EU project partners, under the coordination of the data management work package (WP10, HBM4EU.DATAMANAGEMENT@vito.be) facilitated the collection of aggregated data in a standardised and comparable way from existing HBM data collections. The current version includes aggregated data from 56 data collections from 14 different countries, while additional ones are already in the pipeline and will be included in future updates. The dataset focuses on substances prioritised under HBM4EU .

For each of the included studies, additional information can be found in the respective study’s metadata linked via the tab "Related resources".

The collaboration between HBM4EU and VITO as its data management coordinator and IPCHEM has substantially contributed to developing the IPCHEM HBM module. Metadata have been integrated for 143 datasets so far, allowing the IPCHEM user to identify relevant studies and to get in contact with the study contact point. The first harmonised aggregated data had been integrated in December 2020 but access has been limited to the project consortium. Now the data can be made publicly available to support the wider research and policy making community.
