IPCHEM has recently achieved a wide recognition within and beyond EC and also at international level. Such achievements and acceptance  in policy making and scientific communities of practice would not be possible if not based on  solid and continuously expanding collaborative effort and strong strategic partnership. Various European Commission services (DGs ENV, SANTE, JRC, RTD), European Agencies (EFSA, EEA), International Organisations (OECD, WHO) and EU Member States are actively involved in IPCHEM’s development, data population and cross-fertilisation with other important initiatives in the domains of chemicals, environment and health.

The 2017 JRC Awards for Excellence ceremony will be held in Brussels on July 18, 2017.
