26 March 2025 marked the entry into force of the European Health Data Space (EHDS) Regulation, and the beginning of the transition phase towards its application. An in-depth look at how the European Reference Networks (ERNs) are tackling rare diseases
ERNs are cross-border networks that bring together European centres of expertise and hospitals to tackle rare, low prevalence and complex diseases and conditions requiring highly specialised healthcare.
