Cheers to one year of achievements of the Public Buyers Community Platform

April marks the one-year anniversary of our Public Buyers Community Platform, and we are proud to share some of the advancements that have been achieved so far by this special digital community.

Complementing the European Commission’s strategy to improve public procurement in the EU, the platform has emerged as the premier digital hub for fostering innovation in public purchasing. Public buyers, suppliers, and industries can exchange knowledge on EU procurement practices and network, combine resources, tools, and expertise in their fields of interest to maximise their purchasing power and impact.

Since its launch, the Public Buyers Community Platform has:

  • registered 1,400 members, laying the groundwork for the elevation of the procurement ecosystem in the EU;
  • created 20 communities of practices, promoting specialised knowledge exchange;
  • involved 13 different sectors, driving innovation in every field.

Take a look at our infographic to discover more interesting data about the digital hub.

The platform will continue to encourage collaboration and boost progress in public procurement. So, stay tuned to the news section to find out more about our latest activities.
