#MyMoneyEU
The European Commission has launched a social media campaign to collect experiences from consumers on financial services across Member States. These experiences could involve cross-border banking, insurance or other payment services. They could include, for instance, problems opening a bank account in another EU country, lack of transparency on charges for using a credit card when shopping online abroad or trying to buy insurance in another member state where it is cheaper.

Everybody willing to share these or similar experiences is invited to post a short video (max. 30 seconds) on #MyMoneyEU by 18 March 2016. More information can be found here: http://ec.europa.eu/finance/finservices-retail/mymoneyeu/index_en.htm

This campaign accompanies a Green Paper on retail financial services that the Commission will present next week to launch a formal consultation on the remaining barriers in the internal market for financial services.

This is the European Commission's Finance Newsletter. It is hosted by the Directorate-General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union.
