JOINT RESEARCH CENTRE - EU SCIENCE - Pact4Skills-Cultural and Creative Industries Roundtable

On 12 April, Commissioner Gabriel joined Commissioners Schmit and Breton in an online roundtable on the Pact for Skills for the cultural and creative industries (CCIs). Meeting with representatives of major companies, organisations, partners and training providers in the cultural and creative sectors, the Commissioner emphasised the need for cooperation across sectors and disciplines.

Europe's creative sectors contribute greatly to our society and economy and a common European approach to re-opening and recovery is essential. The Commissioner further highlighted a multitude of instruments available to promote skills development for CCIs, such as the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, the European Universities and the European Solidarity Corps.
