ID-E Webinar Series #6 on Net-Zero Industry Act
The webinar with DG ENER and DG GROW will present the Net-Zero Industry Act (NZIA), a key legislation reshaping the landscape for clean energy investments. As key pillar of the European Commission's Green Deal Industrial Plan, NZIA will enhance the competitiveness and resilience of the European net-zero technologies industry and aim at fostering investments in the sector. NZIA sets a benchmark for the manufacturing capacity of net-zero technologies to meet at least 40% of the EU’s annual deployment needs by 2030.
By attending, you will:
- Understand NZIA's objectives and key measures such as non-price criteria, streamlined permitting procedures, strategic projects, net-zero acceleration valleys, and linkages to financing tools.
- Provide your feedback on the implementation of NZIA.
- You will have the opportunity to join the discussion under the Chatham house rule

The European Sustainable Energy Week is the largest annual conference gathering a wide range of experts and innovators dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use in Europe. This year marks the 18th edition, with the title “Net-zero energy solutions for a competitive Europe”.
ETIP SNET will join the event for all three days, sharing a stand with other European initiatives in the energy transition field. Among other members attending, Sergio Olivero Chair of Working Group 5, is one the speakers of the session: “Less is more? An overview of sufficiency policies to reduce emissions and increase quality of life”.

Join the workshop "Optimising Grid Resilience: Exploring Hybrid Energy Storage and AI Solutions".
StoRIES – Storage Research Infrastructure Eco-System – aims to advance energy storage by improving materials, optimizing hybrid systems, and reducing costs through access to top research facilities. It also addresses socio-technical and environmental aspects, offering training and education on these issues.
This StoRIES project online workshop aims to explore the latest innovations and applications of hybrid energy storage systems, bringing together experts, researchers, and industry professionals to discuss key challenges, opportunities, and future directions in this rapidly evolving field.

16th DEMSEE annual Congress – Deregulated Electricity Market issues in South-Eastern Europe
Focus on: Large Wind Parks inland and at sea.
DEMSEE event is intended to everyone interested in modern Electric Energy topics. These include power generation, storage, and system operation; IPTO and DSO coordination; electricity markets and legislation; RES and smart grids; avoiding blackouts; power grid design; FACTS experience; large turbine foundations both inland and at sea; HVDC undersea cable maintenance; sustainable energy techniques; electrical engineering education; coordination between energy grids (electricity and gas); economic and environmental efficiency; and electric transportation.
