News from ELEXIA

ELEXIA aims to integrate energy systems and facilitate the shift towards digital transition. The goal is not only to develop or improve validated tools for planning and managing integrated energy systems in a variety of conditions, but also to link them across vectors and sectors towards creating a cost-optimised, flexible, and resilient energy system. In line with open science (OS) practices, ELEXIA has officially published its first two Open Access Papers. The two publications, titled Heat Load Forecasting Using Adaptive Spatial Hierarchies and Reconciling Temporal Hierarchies of Wind Power Production with Forecast-Dependent Variance Structures,” are authored by esteemed researchers from the Technical University of Denmark.

These papers are now accessible on the project’s website, and the widely recognised open access repository ZENODO, which is also linked with the OpenAIRE platform. The goal is to maximise exposure for the research material and scientific peer-reviewed publications produced within the project, making them easily accessible to the scientific community and a wider audience.
