The European Commission is supporting several work strands aiming to develop and further implement solutions for Common European Data Spaces in several areas, including mobility and energy. As part of this, the deployEMDS, a project co-funded under the EU’s Digital Europe Programme, aims to support policymaking and the development of innovative services and applications in urban mobility by enabling data sharing, use and reuse. 

There are several use cases of high relevance for the energy community and for the work in the context of systems integration (e.g., the access, use and reuse of data coming from the electric vehicle charging infrastructure).

Scope and activities: ISG activities include training sessions, matchmaking, co-creation workshops, and biannual workshops aimed at identifying priority areas and challenges for solution development.

When: The launch of ISG is planned for the end of May or early June 2024.
