The project “Enabling interoperability of multi-vendor HVDC grids” (InterOPERA) has launched a call for expression of interest to join its Stakeholder Committee.

InterOPERA is an EU-funded project that kicked off this year and unites 21 European partners to unlock the potential of HVDC grids. InterOPERA’s main objective is to make future HVDC systems mutually compatible and interoperable by design, to improve the grid forming capabilities of offshore and onshore converters. And therefore to pave the way for the first HVDC multi-terminal, multivendor, multi-purpose real-life projects in Europe.

Given the impact that the project will have on the HVDC industry, a Stakeholder Committee will be created. Members of the Stakeholder Committee will:  

·        Be exclusively informed about the project status and results;

·        Provide feedback and inputs on the project deliverables;

·        Exchange views on possible exploitation routes of the project.
