The priority of the Pact for Skills is to strengthen collective action on skills development by all stakeholders through skills partnerships.

The European Commission support Large-Scale Skills partnerships (LSPs) at regional and local level, establishing a collaborative framework for coordinated efforts, involving key stakeholders within industrial ecosystems and value or supply chains. This includes associations, relevant public authorities, and SMEs, aiming to provide upskilling and reskilling opportunities for people of working age within specific regions or across multiple EU member states with shared economic or geographical links.

Learn more about Regional Skills Partnerships at the dedicated page, and discover the 14 industrial ecosystems of the renewed EU Industrial Strategy.
