Survey: Mapping barriers to renewable energy projects with regional impact

A team composed of 3E, Th!nk-E and EY Economic and Policy Advisory Services, together with the European Commission's Directorate General for Energy, is working on a study related to renewable energy projects in the EU that have a regional impact, extending beyond the borders of a single country.

This study is aligned with the European Green Deal's ambitious goals for renewable energy and the recent updates to the Renewable Energy Directive (Directive (EU) 2018/2001). One of the key goals of the Commission is to encourage cooperation between EU countries in the field of renewable energy. To do this effectively, apart from mapping the renewable energy projects that involve more than one Member State, the drivers and challenges for such cross-border projects need to be collected. For that, a survey is available online until the 8th of March: REMapping Projects Impact barriers (It will take you approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.)
