WORKING GROUPS

WG REGULATION: The Regulatory working group has received feedback from all the WG members. The DRAFT work plan has been defined. The WG will address the following topics:

·       Harmonization at the level of products and services, including the role of energy communities as a service provider.

·       Cross-border and regional cooperation.

·       Integration of market-based and non-market-based flexibility mechanisms.

·       Coordinated flexibility markets for system services.

The WG REGULATION work plan will be presented to the EC and validated in the next weeks.

WG DATA MANAGEMENT: The Data Management WG Work Plan has been already validated with the EC. The WG will in 2021 work in:

·       Extension and enhancement of the BRIDGE repository

·       Contribution from BRIDGE projects to standardisation

·       Interoperability of flexibility assets

·       EU data exchange reference architecture

WG CONSUMER AND CITIZEN ENGAGEMENT: The following topics will be addressed and compiled into a single deliverable:

·       Socio-cultural Drivers and Indicators of Engagement

·       Strategies of engagement

·       Governance models for collective action

·       Smart tools for Engagement

WG BUSINESS MODELS: Based on wide support to take up an active role again, the Business Models WG leaders have already drafted a work plan that needs to be validated by the EC. The actions cover 2021-2023. For this 1^st period (2021) the WG will address the following topic:

·       Investigation of the relationship of Use Cases (UC) and cross-domain Business Models
