LIFE Programme

The 2020 LIFE calls for project proposals are now open. More than € 450 million are available for nature conservation, environmental protection and climate action projects. This year, we have extended our deadlines and taken further measures to make it easier for you to apply in times of coronavirus restrictions.

What should the new LIFE programme focus on in 2021-24? You still have time until 27 April to your share your wishes for the future EU support for the energy transition, climate action and nature protection. Your voice matters!

The European Commission invites all stakeholders and citizens to submit their views on the EU’s 2030 climate ambition increase. Take part in the consultation and share your views on how to further reduce greenhouse gas emissions. You have time until 23 June.
