In 2022, Slovenia joined the second phase of the European initiative on Eurograduate, which was co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme.

As part of the project, a national survey monitored first, second and third cycle graduates who completed their studies in the Republic of Slovenia in 2016/2017 and 2020/2021. The survey was carried out following the harmonised methodology for the 17 participating countries, and with strong coordination support from the Eurograduate consortium. The methodology enabled a proper comparison of the data obtained between the participating countries.

At the Eurograduate final conference in Slovenia, the results were presented and different stakeholders con fronted their views on the need for monitoring graduate employability. Experts came from various governmental and non-governmental groups (universities, ministries, national authorities for quality in higher education, etc).
