Update on the Eurograduate pilot survey 2022
date: 30/08/2022
In Eurograduate 2022, the pilot countries bear more responsibility in conducting the data collection than in the first pilot survey (involving 8 countries). They are supported in this task by an international consortium that also coordinated Eurograduate 2018. Since February 2022, the Eurograduate consortium has delivered five webinars to the pilot countries, covering topics such as drawing a sample of graduates, contacting graduates, data collection methods, translation of the questionnaire, and the content and programming of the questionnaire.
The survey questionnaire covers topics such as the education history, assessment of studies, competencies, international mobility, transition to the labour market, job characteristics and political participation of graduates. It has been shortened in comparison to the first pilot survey, whilst also addressing the need for additional information (as per the recommendations of the European Commission expert group on graduate tracking).
More than half of the EEA countries participate in Eurograduate 2022 (Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Malta, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia). Among them are nearly all countries that participated in the preceding round of the Eurograduate pilot survey.
