The Second Plenary Meeting of the Investors Dialogue on Energy was held on 23 January 2024 in Brussels.
20 speakers shared insights on the most pressing energy issues, looking at topics such as current EU energy policy initiatives (REPowerEU, Wind Power Action Plan, Grid Action Plan), opportunities and challenges for hydrogen and batteries, the role of cities and energy communities in the decarbonisation of energy, as well as updates from the Working Groups on the ongoing work in designing pilot financial instruments across the different segments of the energy value chain.
Speakers included high level representation from the European Commission, European Investment Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the International Energy Agency, in addition to select founders of the innovative energy start-ups, VCs, energy communities, coordinators of key EU-funded initiatives and the members of the Investors Dialogue Working Groups.
Around 190 participants attended the event. If you were one of them, feel free to give us your feedback here.
The recording of the sessions will be available on the ID-E website this week.
Plenary Meetings are held annually in Brussels. This is a key event culminating the yearly activities of the Investors Dialogue on Energy, and it is open to the ID-E Community and its stakeholders.
