This year EU funded smart city projects and initiatives will take the center stage at the Smart City Expo World Congress: a stand presenting nearly 30 projects and initiatives as well as a booth programme and agora sessions on the main stages of the fair covering topics from the state of European smart cities to how to reach climate neutrality in cities by 2030.

But our participation at the Smart City Expo World Congress is not only about showcasing existing projects and their findings but also offers visitors the opportunity to further develop project ideas and explore funding opportunities. In addition to DG ENER, DG MOVE, DG CNECT almost 30 EU funded projects and initiatives are part of the joint programme and stand at this year’s Smart City World Congress. They participate in four agora sessions on the main stages of the fair.

The programme at the booth will host 13 individual sessions organised in a collaborative manner by attending projects and initiatives. It will supplement and reinforce the cross-cutting topics presented of the joint agora programme.
