EU-US B2B energy forum on LNG trade

The first EU-US B2B high level forum is being held in Brussels today. Organised within the framework of the EU-US energy council, the event marks an important step to enhance transatlantic trade in liquefied natural gas (LNG) and strengthen strategic bilateral cooperation in the energy sector. The (webstreamed) event was opened by EU Commissioner Miguel Arias Cañete and US Energy Secretary Rick Perry.

The Energy Union: from vision to reality

The fourth report on the State of the Energy Union shows that the Commission has fully delivered on its vision of an Energy Union strategy guaranteeing accessible, affordable, secure, competitive and sustainable energy for all Europeans. The report was accompanied by two documents on progress made in renewable energy and energy efficiency.
