European Apprentices Network to discuss future of apprenticeships at 2026 Annual Meeting
Date: 29/10/2026
How can we make VET and apprenticeships more attractive to learners?
This is the key question at the heart of the EAN Annual Meeting, taking place in Brussels on 8-9 December 2026.
The EAN is a youth organisation network who advocate for the perspectives of apprentices to ensure that their voices are heard in discussions related to VET and apprenticeships. The network is formed by current and former apprentices and representatives of student structures and youth labour unions.
The meeting will bring together EAN members, apprentices, learners and youth representatives from across Europe for two days of discussion, collaboration and networking, providing opportunities to exchange perspectives on shared challenges and identify areas where the EAN can further strengthen its support for apprentices and learners.
The programme will feature contributions from the European Commission, learner representatives and other key VET stakeholders, putting learners’ voices at the heart of the event.
EAN members will have the opportunity to share their perspectives and contribute ideas on how to make apprenticeships more attractive and better support learners’ aspirations and career development.
Following the meeting, a selected group of EAN representatives will also attend the 11th annual EAfA-ETF Seminar to continue the conversation.
