Ireland partners with European Skills & VET Week
Date: 22/10/2026
Leading the programme is the 21st Cedefop Brussels Seminar on 30 November, co-organised by Cedefop and the Irish Presidency under the theme “Modernising VET policies and systems for the green and digital economy”.
The event will explore how vocational education and training is adapting to the green and digital transitions, from embedding green skills in learning to responding to artificial intelligence and fast-changing labour market needs.
Earlier in the month, Ireland will host the Construction Sector Skills Forum in Dublin on 24 November. Supported by Cedefop and the European Commission, the forum will bring together experts, industry, educators and policymakers to discuss international collaboration, workforce development and the future of construction skills across Europe.
Together, these two events will showcase Ireland’s strong contribution to the European skills agenda and open up important conversations on the future of VET.
