10th EuroGOOS International Conference

The European Global Ocean Observing System (EuroGOOS) promotes, since 1994, the development of operational oceanography in Europe as the component of the Global Ocean Observing System of the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO. The EuroGOOS International Conference offers an opportunity to discuss how well our ocean observing, monitoring, and forecasting are supporting societal and policy needs.

We are heading into the third year since the start of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030), which was proclaimed with the aim of revolutionising ocean science and triggering a radical change in humanity’s relationship with the ocean. With this as a reference, the 10th EuroGOOS International Conference is addressing the latest research and technology in a wide range of oceanographic services for society. The conference will also discuss transversal issues, such as diversity, inclusion, and public engagement.

The conference programme is available here
