A marketing authorisation holder may also send a DaHPC to inform of, for example, a suspension of a marketing authorisation for safety reasons, important changes on contraindications in the recommended dose, supply shortage and/or quality problems with veterinary medicines.
Veterinarians and other animal health practicioners are encouraged to regularly consult the list of DaHPC agreed upon at the EU level and published by EMA.
