Commission announces new initiatives to support women in science and innovation

Science|Business | 21/03/2024 | Europe - Research commissioner Iliana Ivanova announced new initiatives to boost women’s participation in research and innovation as she awarded the 2024 Women Innovators prize at the opening of the annual R&I week in Brussels. Ivanova also announced the fourth edition of the EIC Women leadership programme, which aims to enhance the skills of female entrepreneurs, upgrade infrastructure, and offer guidance, mentoring, and coaching.

Three Dutch projects selected for EIC transition

These projects are part of 27 projects selected to bring new technologies to the market. The European Innovation Council (EIC) will distribute a total of around 63 billion euros here, according to its publication on the EIC transition cut-off round of 2024.

European Innovation Council backs photonics in latest funding round
