Financing energy efficiency: the key role of standardisation and benchmarking

We are organising a webinar on 28 June at 11:00 CET aimed at facilitating access to finance for investments and featuring presentations by Steven Fawkes (EnergyPro) on the Investor Confidence Project, and Peter Sweatman (Climate Strategy, rapporteur to the Energy Efficiency Financial Institutions Group) on the latest developments of the Group's work. These developments include the De-risking Energy Efficiency Platform and a guide on the appraisal of energy efficiency investments, both of which will be launched on 22 June at the EU Sustainable Energy Week.

New Horizon 2020 Energy Efficiency projects starting soon
|
There are now 44 energy efficiency projects from the 2016 Call for proposals aiming at supporting consumers, property owners and developers, local authorities, and industry in the energy transition. Our infographic shows how the €96M from this Call will support nearly-zero energy building roll-out; apply innovative financing schemes to invest in sustainable energy investments; protect vulnerable consumers from energy poverty; develop solutions for heat recovery and thermal storage, as well as for the next generation of low energy heating and cooling systems.
