6 new environment and resources projects to share €21 million of EU funding
|
The European Commission has selected 6 projects that will receive around €21 million under Horizon 2020's Societal Challenge "Climate action, environment, resource efficiency and raw materials".
Grant agreements are now being prepared for signature so that the new projects will be launched as of November 2019 onwards.

The four new projects will work towards fostering the digital transformation of the water sector. The total funding they have received from Horizon 2020 climbs up to €20 mln and it comes from the Call “Digital solutions for water" published in 2018.

The European Commission is once again taking part in Ecomondo. EASME – the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises – will show how EU funding helps to design a better world with concrete projects dealing with one of this year’s main topics: Sustainable Mobility; Food Waste; Smart Buildings; Plastics Management.
