The 2021 Internet Governance Forum, held between 6-10 December 2021, offered a great opportunity for EDMO to present its multi-stakeholder approach to tackling online disinformation. The panel generated strong interest for cooperation from many stakeholders worldwide.
On 22 November, EDMO organised a workshop to discuss the amendments to the Digital Services Act (DSA) put forward by the CULT and JURI Committees of the European Parliament and different positions towards it. Watch the recordings and find more information following the link below.
On 1-2 December EDMO launched a new training module on ‘’Advanced fact-checking techniques and tools” providing fact-checkers from across Europe with insights on the latest tools and techniques in automated fact-checking.
The first four EMIF calls support research, media literacy and fact-checking initiatives on online disinformation.
