What is your role on the European Digital Education Hub?

I am currently working as a policy officer at the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in Brussels, responsible as Communication Manager for the implementation of the European Digital Education Hub.

What is your experience in digital education?

My experience in digital education is relatively new, as I have only recently joined the Hub. However, I have previously worked on issues related to European higher education and digital policy. I look forward to developing more expertise in this area.

Which topic on digital education are you most invested in?

There are many interesting aspects to digital education, to be honest. Personally, I am most passionate about issues of social justice and inclusion, and how digital tools can create more equal and safe learning spaces for everyone, where everyone can develop their skills and take ownership of their personal development.

What is your vision for the Hub?

My vision for the Hub is a safe space that is inclusive, dynamic, supportive and open, where people from across Europe can come together, connect, share experiences and knowledge, and work together to shape the future of digital education.

Tell us your biggest highlight working on the Hub so far.

My highlight of working on the Hub so far has been the EDEH partners meeting in Brussels in April this year. For the first time I was able to meet everyone involved in the Hub and it felt great to finally meet everyone in person.
