Mail incident last month and how we handled it

On October 24 in the Hub an incident of unintended outreach occurred. This incident was caused by activating a distribution list which led to a high number of exchanges on October 24 and 25, for which we would like to express our sincere apologies. A testing calendar invitation was mistakenly sent to the distribution list (which is automated when one uses calendars in Microsoft Teams) and not only to the small group of individuals foreseen for this meeting. As Hub members kept replying to the invitation, they replied to the distribution list email, thus reaching everyone in the list even though the initial meeting was already cancelled.  

We have implemented measures to prevent any recurrence. We also contacted those of you who provided feedback after the incident to address your concerns and have a dialogue on how this community can better fit your needs.
