As a member of the European Digital Education Hub, you are already at the forefront of digital education innovation. Now, we are excited to introduce you to the European Higher Education Sector Observatory (EHESO).

Digital competence does not solely refer to mastering technology but rather to the way that teachers can use this technology to enhance their professional practice, empower their learners and improve learning outcomes.

The onsite course for ambassadors took place from 18 to 20 April in Athens, Greece. The attendants gathered to attend workshops, share their experiences and actively contribute to developing plans for promoting holistic wellbeing in the eTwinning community.

9 May is eTwinning day, when eTwinners come together to celebrate their community. The anticipation of eTwinning day kicked off on 2 May with a community countdown to a special surprise on 9 May. On 9 May, it was time to turn the spotlight on eTwinners and cherish the community spirit with a special post: a video in which eTwinning ambassadors shared the significance of eTwinning to them.

These inclusive and innovative learning organisations have a commitment to shared leadership, collaboration and teamwork, and act as models for other schools.

Russia’s ongoing war of aggression against Ukraine has resulted in one of the world's largest refugee crises. Among those affected, 1.3 million displaced minors have received temporary protection in the EU, with 700,000 enrolled in EU schools for the 2023–2024 academic year. Despite the support measures implemented by EU countries, some integration challenges remain.
