Dear Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps national agencies,

Thanks to your commitment, over 100 000 mobility participants have joined OLS to take online language courses! Those who joined are taking the language tests and courses. Many of them are already making use of the language forums to practise their language skills. Please help us encourage more students to join by distributing the infographic to mobility participants (see this month’s toolbox below).

We would also like to thank you for spreading the word about the OLS video contest. Search online or on social media using #OLSCommunityStories to see inspiring stories of students who have risen to the challenge of learning a new language and who are stepping out of their comfort zones with Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps using OLS.

On 9 May, the European Commission celebrated the official start of the European Year of Skills. Language skills allow Europeans to connect across borders and open doors to mobility, education, training and job opportunities across the EU.
