Horizon Europe joins the EURIO Knowledge Graph

We are excited to announce a major expansion of the EURIO (European Research Information Ontology) Knowledge Graph. Until now, EURIO has been a valuable resource, encompassing data from the 7th Framework Programme for Research (FP7) and Horizon 2020 (H2020), providing comprehensive insights into research projects, results, and related information. Now, EURIO is making a significant evolutionary leap forward by integrating Horizon Europe. This expansion significantly increases the volume of EURIO, enhancing its role as a valuable resource for the research community.

Enhancing EuroSciVoc with user-driven categorisation

EuroSciVoc, the European Science Vocabulary managed by the Publications Office of the EU, is improving its classification system with a new feature that allows registered users to suggest categories for CORDIS projects. This participatory approach enhances accuracy by refining the automatic categorisation process, which previously relied solely on algorithmic suggestions.

In this edition, we focus on two recent CORDIS milestones: the launch of a user-driven classification system in EuroSciVoc, allowing users to shape how scientific content is organised, and the inclusion of Horizon Europe in the EURIO knowledge graph, enhancing the interconnected landscape of European research data.
