The Space Strategy is a direct implementation of the EU Strategic Compass adopted less than a year ago and provides for a set of measures covering the following strands.

• Shared understanding and response to space threats, building on a common definition and concrete measures.
• Strenghten the resilience and protection of space systems and services in the EU, proposing a set of actions.
• Use of space for security and defence, connecting space, defence and security at EU level.  
• Partnering for responsible behaviours in space, strengthening EU engagement in multilateral fora.
