LIFE Programme

The Commission has adopted the work programme for the implementation of the LIFE Programme in 2025-2027. It sets out key strategies, actions and funding opportunities with the aim to drive Europe's transition to a clean, circular, competitive and climate-resilient economy.

The European Commission has reaffirmed its long-term commitment to tackling Europe’s climate and environment crises by investing more than €86 million in new green strategic projects over the next ten years.

Jessika Roswall, European Commissioner for Environment, Water Resilience and a Competitive Circular Economy, made her first visit to a LIFE project on 22 March, LIFE PRIMED team, at the Bosco di Palo site in Palo Laziale, Italy.

The LIFE Calls for Proposals 2025 are expected to be published on 24 April. All relevant information will be available on the LIFE funding and tender opportunities portal and on the CINEA website.
