New call for the European Energy Efficiency Financing Coalition membership

The European Commission launched the first call for financial institutions to become members of the European Energy Efficiency Financing Coalition, an initiative that brings together the European Commission, EU countries and financial institutions on energy efficiency financing. The call is open until 30 September and aims to create the first group of financial institutions joining the initiative.

CEF Energy: four preparatory studies selected for funding under cross-border renewables

Four projects have been selected following the 2023 CEF Energy call for preparatory studies for cross-border renewable energy (CB RES) projects. The awarded projects involve five EU countries (Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Poland and Portugal), and cover different sectors such as offshore wind, green hydrogen and solar PV.

Just Transition Mechanism: 6 more Czech projects selected for PSLF funding

The European Commission has selected six projects for co-funding in Czechia aimed at promoting sustainable social infrastructure, improving the energy efficiency of public buildings and modernising transport infrastructure. The projects will receive EU support worth EUR 8.9 million under the Public Sector Loan Facility (PSLF) of the Just Transition Mechanism (JTM).

Energy Infrastructure Forum: CINEA commemorates the signature of the grant agreement with Gabreta

CINEA seized the occasion of the Energy Infrastructure Forum in Copenhagen to celebrate a symbolic ceremony marking the signature of the grant agreement between the Agency and Gabreta, a smart grid project co-funded by CEF Energy.
