Innovation Fund’s second call for small-scale projects is open to proposals in renewable energy, energy-intensive industries including substitute products, energy storage, and carbon capture, use and storage.

The European Sustainable Energy Awards recognise outstanding individuals and projects for their innovation and efforts in the field of energy efficiency and renewables. The call for Awards is open until Thursday 28 April to receive submissions in four categories: Innovation, Local Energy Action, Woman in Energy and Young Energy Trailblazer.

The first seven projects under the Innovation Fund's first large-scale call have signed their commitment to contribute to the EU Green Deal. With over EUR 1 billion from EU funding, the projects aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by over 76 metric tonnes of CO₂eq during the first ten years of operation.
