Commission awards over EUR 1 billion to innovative projects for the EU climate transition

The first seven projects under the Innovation Fund's first large-scale call have signed their commitment to contribute to the EU Green Deal. With over EUR 1 billion from EU funding, the projects aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by over 76 metric tonnes of CO2eq during the first ten years of operation.
