Add standard user satisfaction survey to your website

Add standard user satisfaction survey to your website

date:  16/07/2024

COMM B.3 has set up an exit survey on the Commission’s core website and the EU website. Would you like to add this survey to your website as well?
The survey is a great opportunity for Commission services to learn more about the profiles of visitors to their websites as well as user satisfaction.

We are reaching out to you specifically as owners of these websites that are among the top 10 most visited websites on the europa domain:

TAXUD Taxation and Customs https://taxation-customs.ec.europa.eu
EMPL EURES - The European Job Mobility Portal https://eures.europa.eu
GROW Growth - GROW https://single-market-economy.ec.europa.eu/
HOME HOME     https://home-affairs.ec.europa.eu/
SANTE Health     https://health.ec.europa.eu/
CLIMA Climate Action https://climate.ec.europa.eu/
ENV Environment     https://environment.ec.europa.eu
FISMA Banking and finance https://finance.ec.europa.eu/
EACEA Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency https://www.eacea.ec.europa.eu/
AGRI Agriculture and Rural Development https://agriculture.ec.europa.eu/

The exit survey proposes pop-ups for every 10th user, asking them to complete a short questionnaire. The survey consists of 5 questions (with a possibility of 2 additional sub-questions depending on the answers given by the user):

  • Based on today’s visit, how satisfied are you with the website overall? (selection between (very) dissatisfied – (very) satisfied)
  • What information were you looking for? (multi-selection from a list of pre-defined choices)
  • How often do you visit the website? (daily – weekly – monthly – infrequently – first visit)
  • How old are you? (choice of several age ranges)
  • Are you visiting this site as a (school/university student – private individual – professional)

While the survey questions are standardised, it is possible to customise the “What information were you looking for?” question. If you would like to select a different set of responses, please let us know.

The survey is completely anonymous and only takes visitors a few moments to complete.  The survey has no end date, meaning the data will be continuously collected (until there is a decision to stop it).

The results are stored, post-processed and visualised using standard, EC-approved IT tools and databases. The survey results will only be available to a few designated recipients in COMM B.3 and your department. You will be able to analyse the results together with COMM B.3 colleagues.

Please contact us via the Europa Web Communication form by Friday 19 July 2024 cob to let us know if you would like the exit survey on your website. Note that DG COMM can configure the survey on your website for you.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
