During a recent analysis of files in the Asset Manager we have noticed that specific users have:

1. a large number of files stored on the acceptance server but not on the production server
2. many files not updated since 1 January 2021 and possibly outdated

We therefore believe that the Asset Manager is often wrongly used as a storage device, and this is something we need to avoid at all costs.
Please note that the Asset Manager cannot be used for storage purposes and therefore we would like you to check your content and remove:

1. unpublished content from the acceptance server
2. outdated content

Before you can check and remove your content, our service needs to reactivate your account. Your account is temporarily disabled as you have been inactive for a long period of time. Please contact europamanagement@ec.europa.eu

Afterwards you can check your content and remove it if needed. If you believe the content cannot be removed, please explain why it needs to remain on the Asset Manager.
If the content is not removed and we do not receive your input by 30 June 2023 close of business (COB), we will consider these files as obsolete and they will be removed.
