As already communicated in the first week of January, Webtools FormTools was impacted by a loss of data in the last days of 2021. Following the investigation, DIGIT identified that the issue was due to a cyber-attack and implemented additional security measures in order to prevent similar issues from happening again in the future.

As part of the stronger security measures and as a precaution, we would like to ensure that all users change their passwords. Therefore, Webtools team has now changed the password you use to access https://webtools.ec.europa.eu/form-tools/.

We kindly ask you to proceed with the reset of your password using the ‘Forget password’ function. Please open https://webtools.ec.europa.eu/form-tools/forget_password.php to start the procedure and set a new user password. After clicking ‘Email’ you will receive an email with a link to finalise the procedure in a secure manner.

1. You have until 1 February 2022 to perform this action. In case you haven’t been able to do this within the deadline, your account will be disabled.
2. The links above are only accessible from the internal network or if Webtools has whitelisted your IP address.
