Confluence Wikis - New support service for Open Europa Wikis (OEW)
Since Thursday 1 October 2020, the support service for Open Europa Wikis is provided by digit-wikis-support@ec.europa.eu.
There are 3 types of Wikis:
- Intranet Wikis are located at https://www.cc.cec/wikis.
- Extranet Wikis are located at https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/fpfis/wikis.
- Internet Wikis (a.k.a. Public Wikis) are located at https://wikis.ec.europa.eu.
Intranet & Extranet Wikis
These Wikis are collaborative solutions for closed groups: their content is only available after authentication via EU Login.
No prior approval is required for the creation of such Wikis.
Internet Wikis
These Wiki pages are open to a public audience: their content is available without authentication.
Therefore, these Wikis are considered a communication product which falls under the scope of the Corporate Web Presence and requires the approval of DG COMM prior to its creation (as for a new website).
Reminder
The Europa Web Guide states that: - "All new sites and revamps must be approved by DG COMM before a project starts, ideally during the inception phase." (see Revamps and new websites).
COMM Europa Management (CEM) is the Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for requests related to the Corporate Web Presence of the European Commission. You can contact this service by email: europamanagement@ec.europa.eu.
