In order to mitigate the security issues that were assessed as critical, DIGIT SECURITY ASSURANCE took immediate action by limiting access to only Drupal authenticated user who are connected from the network of the Commission (NET1).

As a result, external contractors or editors working on backends of Drupal sites from outside the Commission premises could not connect while DevOps in DIGIT were applying the high priority patch to the Drupal website.
